Savory Gravy-Baked Pierogies – Easy Plant-Based Dinner Ideas

In today’s video, I am back in the kitchen with another easy Plant-based dinner ideas. I am going to show you how to make a variation of Baked Pierogies that I like to call Savory Gravy-Baked Pierogies or Steel Valley Style Pierogies. Either way this is a very easy dish to make and it tastes amazing.

This is comfort food at it’s best, but without adding too much fat into the meal. The gravy has 9 grams of fat for the whole jar. The Pierogies add 6 grams of fat if you ate half the dish (6 pierogies). With the trivial amount of fat in the veggies, the total grams of fat for this meal is around 10.5 and total calories should be about 600. Fat percentage for the meal ends up being about 15-16 %.

Ingredients

12 frozen Pierogies

2 large carrots chopped

2 stalks of celery chopped

1/2 sweet onion chopped

1 jar Heinz Vegetarian Gravy

Combine the Pierogies and Veggies in a baking dish Pour the entire jar of gravy evenly over the top of everything.

Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 30-35 minutes.
