Henry Hagg Lake | Oregon
To say the weather in Oregon over the past few weeks has been extremely hot would be an understatement. Inga and I were in Pendleton, Or when it hit 117 degrees. While we were in Forest Grove, the temperature stayed at 113 degrees for 2 days. The week prior to the heatwave in Oregon, Inga and I were in Las Vegas, where the temperature was 116 degrees. We were in desperate need of some water during the heatwave, so we headed to Henry Hagg Lake.
Paddle Boarding at Henry Hagg Lake
To get a spot close to the water, we had to get to the lake pretty early. There is a fee to park at the lake, which is $7.00, but it was definitely worth it. The water is a little muddy in the heavier trafficked areas but it clears up as you get further out from shore.
Inga Enjoying Some Time on the Water
After we had ventured out on the lake with the paddle board, I stayed on shore to snap some photos. Inga wanted to get some more time out on the water.
Siete | Grain Free Tortilla Chips
We grabbed these Siete Tortilla Chips at our local Toyota dealership while we were getting our tires rotated. I thought they were excellent. Great cheesy flavor, but they are of course Vegan friendly.
Italian Leather Flower
An Italian Leather Flower that is growing on a vine over at Inga’s parents house. We recently stopped by and they made us a Vegan meal, which was great. On top of that, we picked quite a few raspberries.
